Gymshark, the British sportswear giant, is working towards restructuring of its business, which, reportedly, may lead to loss of 121 jobs.
Notably, the restructuring is focussed at brand’s plans of expanding globally, in addition to ensuring customer strategies are driven by local experts, knowledge and data.
More on its plans to expand globally, the brand said that it aims at putting the right skills in the right place to give the business the best possible opportunity to grow globally and be the 100-year brand that it believes it can be.
The restructuring process could make 121 roles redundant across the business – subject to a consultation process.
The roles at risk are global, and also include its headquarters in Solihull.
Gymshark also added that proposals will be made to create 100 new roles and will seek to offer many of these new roles to its existing staff where it is appropriate to do so.
Importantly, employees have been informed of the same.
Gymshark is a British fitness apparel and accessories brand that was founded in 2012.
