AMH SSC (Apparel, Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council) has introduced ‘Employment’ section on its website which will help apparel manufacturers to get operator/staff and placement facility for trainees. It will be a very simple operation, whereby, AMH SSC shall receive online/offline the demand of skilled manpower in different trades from the industry and post it on the website under the ‘Employment’ section. Simultaneously, date of completion of different batches by individual TPs (training partners) shall be displayed on the supply side. If an apparel manufacturer would require skilled manpower, he will post his requirement on the website along with the details of his SPOC. Similarly, details of all the ongoing batches, being run by TPs, shall be displayed along with his details.
Dr. Roopak Vasishtha, CEO, AMH SSC claims that this is an excellent initiative taken by the AMH SSC in solving the issue of scarcity of skilled manpower.
