Firth has taken the next step
towards sustainable fashion by
designing her own pieces for a
new ethical fashion line ‘Livia Firth Designs’. Livia Firth is
also the creative director of
eco-age.com, the shop within
a shop on YOOX’s shopping
website Yooxygen, which aims to
spread environmental awareness
throughout by the medium of collaborations with a series of
international brands, designers
and talents.
The new sustainable line by Livia
Firth Designs will be launched
in September 2012 on YOOX and
will have pieces that include a
little black
dress in
organic
wool
The new ethical line Livia Firth Designs is to be launched in September 2012
with a vegetable tanned leather obi belt, two styles of woollen cloche hat and a hand-crafted butterfly necklace. The Italianborn former film producer roped in Tom Ford, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Stella McCartney to sign up for the Green Carpet Challenge, an initiative found by her in 2009 with British journalist Lucy Siegle.
