1 Nov 2010: After launching its pre- dyed buttons and buttons for children’s wear recently, BRFL’s trims division has now launched its range of narrow fabrics in the brand name of Arihant Organics. The brand has woven labels and woven narrow fabrics in cotton, polyester, nylon, viscose and polypropylene both in woven plain elastic tapes and rigid (non-elastic) plain tapes under its umbrella.
 
IIFT Presents an International Feel in Designs in Collaboration with Bradford College, UK
Trade Fairs/Events<> 1 Nov 2010: The International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) in conjunction with Bradford College UK recently showcased a fashion show to celebrate the spirit of the Commonwealth Games. Sponsored by the British Council and Indian Education Research Initiative (UKIERI), the show previewed a sportswear collection “Enchanted Splendor”, taking fashion in the Commonwealth Games as their theme. Speaking at the event Randeep Lal, Founder Chairman, IIFT said, “It’s a great opportunity for British designers and Indian designers to show their joint creativity to gel with the highly hyped CWG 2010.”

Many of these innovations were on display at the recently concluded 31st India Knit Fair (IKF), Tirupur. Though the cotton price worries took some charm out of the show by lower participation of exhibitors, still buyers, manufacturers and market watchers were very buoyant about the future of India.
